Proper Finnish Winter
I've been waiting for this moment for many years, since the winters in Helsinki over the past couple of years have been dreadful. This time around we had a huge dump of snow over the course of couple of days, whereafter a really cold spell. Taking this photo was quite extreme, since I had to trek to this spot for about an hour each way because of the snow. The weather was sunny but -16C degrees Celsius and proper North wind and moisture from the sea kept your senses sharp. I just love the texture of this type of proper "winter snow".
